Specifically designed for the older seasoned horse. Older horses have unique nutrient requirements due to their age and their digestive system. Old usually occurs around 20 years of age but is greatly impacted by the health of the horse's teeth. Senior Pride has all the nutrition required for the older horse, including the fiber and other nutrients found in pasture or hay. Pelleted. 50 lb. bag. Feed at a rate of 1.0 to 2.0 lb. per 100 lb. of body weight, per day. A small amount of good hay or pasture should be offered. This helps maintain good digestion and prevents boredom. Feed at least 3 times a day, not more than 6 lb. per feeding, and provide fresh, clean water along with salt-free choice. Formulas are locked. No ingredient substitutions allowed. The feed is consistent and horses will not be exposed to variations in texture or nutrition.
